Your Purpose
As a Warehouse Associate, you help bring the Poppy Barley experience to life by ensuring our products reach customers and stores accurately, on time, and with care. From receiving inventory to packing orders, you keep our warehouse organized, safe, and running smoothly, taking pride in the details that deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Your Responsibilities
Leadership:
- Open and / or close the warehouse including completing opening and closing tasks, securing the work area, and ensuring essential daily work is complete.
- Provide leadership on the floor to the warehouse team including coordinating tasks, assigning priorities, troubleshooting issues, and answering questions.
- Support the development of a culture that balances results, productivity and fun.
Warehouse Work:
- Using your attention to detail in delivering exceptional service to customers
- Supporting e-commerce and in-store channels through shipping, and order fulfilment
- Overseeing receiving of new stock and organizing the Warehouse
- Unpacking boxes from shipments received as required and maintaining stockroom organization standards.
- Verifying replenishment shipments into inventory, in addition to larger, seasonal collection shipments
- Supporting replenishment to stores weekly.
- Processing and fulfilment of e-commerce returns.
- Supporting inventory counts as needed.
Everything Else
- All hands on deck: this is a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves kind of team, and we're looking for someone who’s ready to jump in wherever needed to get the job done.
Key Performance Indicators
- Ensuring our fulfillment and replenishment accuracy goals are met so that the right products are sent to customers and stores.
- Keeping inventory adjustments to a minimum
- Performing all warehouse tasks in a timely manner to deliver exceptional customer service
- Maintaining an organized warehouse area so that all operations can happen efficiently.
- Adhesion and execution of all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
Your Background and Strengths
- High school diploma and proficient in English
- Experience in a warehouse or retail environment considered an asset
- Proficient on a computer and with using Google spreadsheets and email
- Strong problem solving abilities, motivated, and a team player
- Able to handle physical work including lifting boxes up to 30 lbs and walking and standing for most of your shift
- Available for ~15 to 25 hours per week and able to work daytime hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Compensation
$17.00 - $19.50 per hour
